With over 29 years of experience across the NHS, William brings a depth of expertise and insight that is rare in the healthcare sector. Throughout his career, William has built extensive experience spanning clinical, provider, and commissioning roles at both local and national levels, encompassing operational leadership, strategic planning, and large-scale service transformation within primary care, community, and integrated care settings.
As Director of Development and Partnerships, William works closely with clients, helping them navigate the complexities of modern healthcare, strengthen system-wide partnerships and deliver meaningful improvements in service quality and efficiency.
William has expertise in managing complex multi-site services, developing strategic frameworks and alliances that enable cross-organisational decision-making, ensuring that operational delivery remains aligned with wider strategic priorities. William is also passionate about supporting organisations through periods of significant transformation. By enabling better system working, embedding cultures of quality and innovation, and helping teams operate effectively within tight financial constraints, he enables healthcare providers to reduce complexity and focus on what matters most – delivering high-quality patient care.

Outside work, William lives in the New Forest with his family. He is a passionate rugby enthusiast who coaches a local youth RFU team and enjoys long walks through the forest and along the coast.
