Karen King – Head of New Business Development, Facilities Management

Karen King

 

With more than 30 years of experience in the Facilities Management industry, Karen brings extensive and deep industry knowledge to Anenta’s current and new prospective clients.

In previous roles Karen has worked at the University of Cambridge, responsible for the Department of Physics portfolio, including the new world class Ray Dolby Centre.  She is a driven and passionate professional specialising in soft facilities and contract management.  Karen previously held senior leadership roles at the Competition and Markets Authority in Canary Wharf, managing a TFM contract across Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast, and has worked at Anglian Water Services and within the education sector.  She has served on the Premises and Facilities Management Editorial Advisory Board for five years and is part of the judging panel for the PFM awards.

As the Head of New Business Development, Facilities Management, Karen will be responsible for designing and implementing a new Facilities offer / provision across Anenta’s existing and new customer base. Developing a one-stop shop for facilities management services.

Outside of work, Karen lives in Cambridgeshire and has a passion for travelling, spending time with family and friends and walking her crazy labradoodle and pomsky dogs.
