We are thrilled to introduce Isabelle Gracia our newly promoted Regional Accounts Manager at Anenta. We spoke with Isabelle to find out more about her and her new role…
Isabelle, what does your role involve?
My role as Regional Accounts Manager includes managing the ICBs in the London, South East and South West regions.
I regularly attend all contract meetings for these areas, assisting with any queries or issues our clients may have regarding service, data, or invoicing. I ensure that anything that needs addressing is resolved promptly to guarantee the continual smooth running of clinical waste collections.
As part of my role I visit vendors once a month to discuss service, data, invoicing, and any challenges they may be facing to ensure the smooth running of clinical waste collections from their perspective.
Another key part of my role is overseeing the completion of Pre-Acceptance Audits. This ensures that vendors continue to collect clinical waste from producers and keeps waste producers compliant.
Validation of vendor invoices is key to ensuring that our healthcare waste producer customers are billed correctly. If there are any issues, I deal directly with the vendors to resolve disputed tickets and, where appropriate, ensure that credits are allocated, and invoices are authorised to be paid.
What drives you?
Learning new things, completing challenging tasks in good time, creating and adapting processes to achieve higher efficiency, as well as helping and teaching others.
What has been your favourite day in the office so far?
My favourite day so far was visiting a vendor on-site to see how a clinical waste plant and incinerator works in practice. This was a really productive day as we were able discuss common issues that we had seen across multiple invoices, which had led to the invoices being disputed. Through discussion, we were able to make positive progress towards this being resolved.
What are some fun facts about you?
My favourite film is ‘Matilda and The Butterfly Effect’, and my favourite book is ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ by Khaled Hosseini. My hobbies include learning Spanish, cooking, reading, going to the gym, walking my dog, traveling and learning about other cultures. In my spare time I volunteer at a local food bank charity.
